Research into Casino Gambling in Atlantic City
Soon New Jersey are going to celebrate the 30th anniversary of casino gambling in the state, and the Richard Stockton College that is in New Jersey will be carrying a new research centering upon the casino gambling effects in Atlantic City. They’ll be working together with the Rutgers Center to conduct a research into urban policy, and with the Spectrum Gaming Group to consult.
Last week J. Saatkamp Jr., the Richard Stockton College President, released a statement that the study would be conducted to reveal all the important changes which had happened for the past 30 years as casino gambling result, and give opportunities for prospect operations.
The study on casino gambling will embrace a lot of issues, including the economic influence of lawful casino gambling, transportation and infrastructure aspects, qualities of social services, tax consequences, communal issues and predictions about the prospect landscape of casino gambling. The first results can be expected to have appeared by the end of this year.
Brendan Bryne, the ex-governor of New Jersey, was pleased to learn about the research, noting that as exactly he permitted casino gambling in Atlantic City, it’ll be very exciting for him to know how the gambling industry has developed and influenced the society.
Stockton has already taken part in a variety of casino gambling projects, such as the Governor’s Advisory Commission for Gambling of 1998, the creation of the Institute for Gaming Management, and the New Jersey Center for investigation in Hospitality and Tourism.
