Playtech’s Beach Life(Visit Vegas Red) progressive jackpot was hit last night. It finally popped at $4,238,508, which makes it one of the highest online jackpots in history.

I have been recording jackpot history here for over 2 years, and this Beach Life jackpot is the 3rd largest hit I’ve seen. Only Mega Moolah ($5,556,758.68 on April 18, 2008, Visit Sun Vegas Casino) and Millionaires Club ($5,898,352 on May 15, 2007) had higher wins in the last 2 years. There was one other Mega Moolah winner, in November 2007, but the amount won was in Rand (R4.3 million), which at the time equated to roughly $640,000 or £313,000.

The current Beach Life jackpot is around $56,000, as of this post.
