Ukash is available for Spaniards
Ukash has recently announced that it is going to offer Ukash vouchers in Spain, as the country is turning into one of the hottest online gambling markets in Europe. The company signed a deal with Telefonica, the leading telecommunications operator in the Spain and Portugal, and soon Ukash will be available at 70,000 phone kiosks that are equipped to accept bills for issuing e-mails and SMS to users who can use their funds for online services and goods then.
After upgrading their kiosks, Telefonica has been looking for new services like Ukash, to which the majority of Spaniards don’t have access. Taking into account that Telefonica has penetrated into country areas of Spain more people in Spain will be able to use the Ukash service.
Ukash is going to do this via an advertising campaign. And certainly, one more way to drive business is to spread the word to the Spanish online casino community. A large part of the company’s business is connected with online gambling, but traffic at betting and online casinos sites that accept stakes from Spanish residents is nothing to mock at.
Ukash, the trading name of Smart Voucher Ltd., is regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority. The company has been carrying on business since 2001. It offers its services to the residents of the UK, Ireland and Germany and now to Spaniards. To use their service, consumers just deposit their money at an approved store or kiosk that accepts PayPoint, e-pay or payzone. Then customers will receive a unique and secure 19-digit code through SMS that can be used to purchase online goods and services.
